How to get the most out of your facial oil

Facial oils are not just for during facials and facial massage. There are many ways to use them at home, making them a great multipurpose product to have in your skincare rotation.

Here are a few uses to get you started...

1. Moisturiser Boost: Apply a few drops of facial oil after your regular moisturiser to lock in hydration and add an extra layer of moisture.

2. Mix with Foundation: Blend a drop or two of facial oil with your foundation for a dewy finish, providing a natural-looking glow to your skin.

3. Nighttime Treatment: Use facial after your serum and face cream as a part of your nighttime skincare routine, allowing it to nourish and repair your skin while you sleep.

4. Spot Treatment: Dab a small amount of facial oil on dry or flaky patches for targeted hydration, helping to soothe and heal specific areas.

5. Cuticle Care: Massage a drop of facial oil into your cuticles to keep them soft and prevent dryness.

6. Highlighter: Apply a small amount to the high points of your face (cheekbones, brow bones) for a subtle, natural-looking highlight.

7. Hair Treatment: Smooth a tiny amount of facial oil onto the ends of your hair to tame frizz and add shine.

8.Under Eye Treatment: Gently pat a small amount of oil under your eyes to help minimise fine lines and keep the delicate skin hydrated.

9. Mix with Moisturiser: Customise your regular moisturiser by mixing it with a drop of facial oil, creating a richer consistency for added nourishment.

10. Primer Alternative: Use facial oil as a base before applying makeup to create a smooth canvas, allowing foundation to glide on more evenly.
